Saronic, Argolic & Peloponnesian Area

On the south eastern side of Peloponnese the route combines beautiful islands with the magnificent eastern coast of the Peloponnese. You will explore cosmopolitan towns, ancient temples, small peaceful fishing villages and unspoiled anchorages. This route is also highly recommended for easy sailing or for shorter periods of charter.

Wind and Sailing Conditions
The Saronic, Argolic and eastern coast of the Peloponnesian Gulf is a very well protected cruising area with mild winds, averaging Force 3-4, usually from the North to North-East, ideal for relaxed sailing. In the Argolic Gulf winds are blowing Force 3-5 from the South-East, mostly in the summer. During spring and autumn the winds are mostly weaker and blow from the South over the whole area.

Travel Notes
You can start your cruise from our base in Alimos Marina. Alimos Marina, located 30 minutes from the Athens International Airport El. Venizelos, can be accessed by taxi and public bus.

Cyclades Area

A group of islands lying in the middle of the Aegean Sea, that form an imaginary circle around the island of Delos. The Cyclades are distinguished worldwide for their rough elemental landscape, whitewashed houses and windmills, narrow paths full of flowers, brilliant blue sea and most recently, their never-ending nightlife.

Wind and Sailing Conditions
Facing winds blowing from the North. It is advised that for short charters (7 days) the charterer should be aware in advance of the prevailing weather conditions, since local winds in summer can reach the Force of 8-9 and last for more than a couple of days.

Ionian Area

The Ionian Islands are located in the Ionian Sea, off the west coast of Greece. The seven islands are well known for their sandy beaches, crystal clear blue waters and flourishing nature. Each Ionian island has a distinct character and offers everything you could ask for in a Greek Island holiday.

Wind and Sailing Conditions
The wind and sailing conditions in the Ionian Sea are ideal and predictable. From May to September the wind blows from the north-west at force 2-5. During spring and autumn, the wind is less strong and blows mostly from the south-west. It rises around noon, blows between force 3 to 6 (10 to 25 knots) and dies down at sunset. There may be strong gusts on the leeward side due to the high land.
